Papers must contain original content and should not have been previously published, or submitted to a peer-reviewed journal or a refereed conference/workshop whose notification date is after the DISCS-2013 submission deadline.
To be considered, papers must:
- be submitted in PDF format (readable by Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 and higher) and formatted for 8.5" x 11" paper (U.S. Letter size).
- have at most 6 pages, all inclusive (i.e., including references, figures, tables, appendices, and anything else).
- be formatted according to the double-column format used for ACM SIG Proceedings (Option 2: LaTeX2e - Tighter Alternate style). Margins and font sizes must not be modified. The templates for "ACM SIG - Option 2: LaTeX2e - Tighter Alternate style" can be found at http://www.acm.org/sigs/publications/proceedings-templates.
Papers that do not satisfy these content and formatting requirements will be rejected at the discretion of the program committee.
To submit a paper, use the EasyChair Conference System's DISCS-2013 pages. Log in (creating an EasyChair account if necessary), ensure your selected role is "author," and then click the "New Submission" link at the top left of the page.
The paper review process is standard peer review in which author identities are revealed but reviewer identities are kept confidential.
The program committee and its reviewers will try its best to adhere to the ACM code of conduct in confidentiality as outlined in http://www.acm.org/publications/policies/RightsResponsibilities, as well as avoidin any conflicts of interest to influence its decisions. Should there be a breach of these by accident or by misconduct by its reviewers, the DISCS-2013 workshop organizers will try its best to investigate and report on the event to maintain its academic integrity, but workshop organizers, program committee members, and reviewers shall not accept liability of any sort.
