About Me

I am a research staff of the Future Technologies Group led by Dr. Jeffrey Vetter at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. I earned a Ph.D in computer science from Virginia Tech under the supervision of Dr. Dimitrios S. Nikolopoulos and Dr. Kirk W. Cameron from 2006-2010.

Research Overview

My research generally falls into the area of parallel and distributed computing. My work creates innovation in programming models, runtime, and performance modeling; my work coordinates software and hardware to solve resilience and power challenges. I also investigate the impact of novel architectures (e.g., non-volatile memory and accelerator) on the designs of applications and runtime.
