Olaf joined
CSM's Future Technologies Group
in 2005 from
NASA
to explore new algorithms and
architectures
with accelerators (Field Programmable Gate Arrays -FPGAs and Graphics
Processors -GPUs) to speed future scientific computation
(i.e. large matrix equation solution).
Olaf earned
his Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics from NCSU and served on the Graduate
Faculty of GWU
and CNU and is a faculty affiliate of the University of Tennesse.
